Spring Time In The City: Postcards From London
There is something so magical about London and it’s one of those cities that I love playing tourist. There is always something new that catches your glimpse, even in  a very familiar corner of your home city. Spring time in London is probably my favourite time, the city is covered with blankets of blossoms and shortly after wisteria comes into full bloom. It really is the prettiest time to be roaming around the city. It has been a long time since I spent Easter in London, I usually fly back to Italy but this year I decided to spend the long weekend in my beloved home. I forgot how tranquil and serene it all is and I decided to roam around the neighbourhood.
Am I biased when I say we have the prettiest doors ever!? I have developed a slight obsession and cannot help but snap away pretty doors. Fuelling my obsession I couldn’t help but create an instagram account @prettydoortraits, and I see I am not alone with this little fetish of mine. So with camera in hand I decided to go for a stroll around Chelsea and capture some really pretty homes – be prepared for some major house envy to follow. Of course spring in the city couldn’t be complete without pretty florals in abundance.
Try it once in a while, discover new side streets, new places, it really is therapeutic. In the mean time I leave you with a few snaps taken during the Easter weekend. I’m in the process a doing a mini guide around South Kensington/Chelsea area which I cannot wait to share with you very soon!
