Winter Trends: How To Style Blush Pink
As we enter into the winter months and the nights draw in, pink continues to be one of the biggest colour trends of the year. Inspired by this trend, I did use a beautiful blush sofa for a recent styling shoot I did. While I am still dreaming about owning a pink sofa of my own, I will make do by gathering inspiration and trying to convince the other half.
Many make the mistake of thinking that pink is only a summer colour, but to the contrary. Pink or blush, is definitely making a statement this winter too. It’s a lot more versatile than you first might think and can be used in a variety of ways which will help brighten up any room. The gorgeous velvet sofa in the picture above and below is the Bailey sofa, available from DFS and it is so luxurious.
Create a warm and soft environment by pairing your blush sofa with clean white walls and touches of grey – pink, blush or even bolder fuchsia tones will create a warm, calm yet vibrant living space. Accessorise with some fake fur or velvet cushions and throws and you’ve got a stylish winter haven.
The gorgeous sofa above is called ‘Opera’ and is also available from DFS. They really do have a great selection of pink sofas if in doubt.
So have I convinced you yet? Are you a pink sofa lover like me? I vow that one day I will be the happy owner of one…
This post was in collaboration with DFS, all views are my own.

18th November 2016 at 2:55 pmI really want a new sofa but not sure I’m brave enough to go pink – although it looks lovely in these shots. Love that chesterfield so much.

18th November 2016 at 3:12 pmI keep being drawn to blush in interiors – not sure I’d go as far as a fully pink sofa, but its such a lovely accent hue xx

18th November 2016 at 9:31 pmAn absolute show stopper! I love that these styles are coming back around. I find it a little lifeless in your average showroom where it’s all black leather. Yawn!

18th November 2016 at 10:11 pmI probably wouldn’t naturally pick out a pink sofa, but have to say you’re making me rethink. That one looks lovely and or so beautifully styled.

19th November 2016 at 12:00 amI’m not really a pink kind of a gal. But I really love blush when used with grey or inky blues. Those sofas look pretty special.

19th November 2016 at 2:03 amHow beautiful. Love the styling. I’m actually awaiting my pink DFS sofa too to style. I love the velvet one but went for a cotton version. Now I wish I went for velvet. Have a lovely weekend x
