Kefir Smoothie

Hello lovely people, I hope you had a great weekend,  I thought I would start Monday with a guest blogger – my gorgeous sister Dania Trapani who will share with you  a simple Kefir Smoothie  to kick start the week.

Hey guys, it’s so great to be here. Today I thought I would share a very simple recipe for a Kefir smoothie. For those of you that have never heard of Kefir, it is a very strong probiotic drink, which strengthens the immune system, aids digestion and all digestive problems, heals the gut and gives you a flat stomach. When I am in London I drink Kefir every morning. When travelling unfortunately I can never find it. On it’s own it has a strong taste so I have prepared a smoothie which I hope you will enjoy.

Ingredients

300ml Kefir

1 cup of mixed berries of your choice, I used blueberries, raspberries and strawberries

1 tablespoon of chia and flax seeds

Place the kefir and mixed berries in the blender. Blend and pour in a glass. Top with chia and flax seeds.
