Zagazoo By Quentin Blake
I have always been a fan of Quentin Blake’s illustration and writing so it was no surprise how excited I was when his collaboration with Osborne and Little was released this Summer. The collection is called Zagazoo and it is just delightful. With a series of five wallpaper designs and six fabric prints in several colourways, they are simply just fun!
A feeling of nostalgia erupts when I see these prints as all the memories of Quentin’s cheeky characters from Roald Dahl’s books pop to mind. From The BFG, Matilda, The Witches, and so many more, they bring back fond memories. I love his quirkiness, perfect for children and for adults that reminiscent the fond memories of their childhood days and bring that sense of comfort and fun.

19th October 2010 at 10:21 pmYou're right- such a rush of nostalgia. The BFG is still one of my all-time favorite books, and I'm sure the illustrations have got a lot to do with it. I would happily paper a room (or the back of a cabinet) with any one of this collection.
