Exquisite Jerusalem!!!
Jerusalem is one of the many cities I have always wanted to visit as it has so much to offer especially right now within the design world. Ron Arad has opened a design museum in Holon and Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava has created the ‘chords’ rail bridge in Jerusalem. It has also recently opened the Mamilla Hotel with which I am totally in love with and just have to share these beautiful pictures.
The ancient city’s first design hotel is filled with gorgeous elegant interiors by Italian designer Piero Lissoni and has an ultra modern exterior by world-class architect Moshe Safdie.
The Mamilla Hotel truly is a contemporary, world-class hotel, combining modernity with the heritage of the city. It truly is a case of mixing the old with the new as the hotel is filled with contemporary pieces and vintage finds. This duo have created one of the hottest hotels in the world.
Now I definitely have a good enough reason to go to Jerusalem.I hope you enjoy these images as much as I did. Have a lovely weekend!

16th March 2010 at 9:10 amThe hotel is absolutely stunning, but I always tend to stay in places with more character than design. It works well in terms of bonding with local people and experiencing how life could be in different places such as Jerusalem.
But yes, I could see myself having breakfast with THAT view!
Great inspiring weblog. Greeting from London!
